Researchers from Cornwall University have manufactured a microchip made of silicon dioxide in a polycarbonate shell, in which cavities with rubidium and sodium are present. When radiation of radio waves with a certain frequency, these cavities with reagents are opened and a reaction starts that burns out the electronics. It is assumed that this technology will be of interest first of all to military and special services, as well as environmentalists.
