London, Queen's Elizabeth II Speech

Queen Elizabeth II came to Westminster for Queen's Speech, the traditional speech devoted to the inauguration of the new parliamentary session and to the reading of the government's program for the following months. The entrance took place in the respect of a secular ceremonial ceremony, though somewhat less than in the past. The sovereign, accompanied by Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, after being hospitalized by his partner Philip, was welcomed by the notes of the national anthem. The speech is held in the presence of both Members of the House of Commons and of the Lord, as well as of Theresa May's government in the great, but still unsure of, its majority. But it is housed in the House of Lords because the monarchs can not enter the town traditionally.
