Breaking News: President Trump Fires FBI Director Comey
In a statement from Sean Spicer, the White House Press Secretary, it said “Today, President Donald J. Trump informed FBI Director James Comey that he has been terminated and removed from office,” Director James Comey was appointed by President Obama in 2013. Former Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has blamed Comey as one of the reasons so lost the election. Many agree that her loss was because she was a bad candidate among other factors.
President Trumps statement went on to say that “The FBI is one of our Nation’s most cherished and respected institutions and today will mark a new beginning for our crown jewel of law enforcement,” . The search is on for a new Director as Comey was appointed to a 10 year term.
