The Daily Dood for 1-17-18

Today's bitcoin low was about $9,231 USD on BitFinex

What a wild day of trading. Bitcoin hit a low of about $9,231 USD then bounced back to about $11,678 USD and began to retrace down to about $10,769 USD at the time of this writing. Hoping for a bottom may be wishful thinking, many are calling for a retracement down below $8,000 while others are more optimistic predicting todays low as the bottom. I guess the next 24 - 48 hours will give us an idea of which direction we will be heading in.

The Altcoin market also showed some signs of recovery by mid afternoon, making many alt traders much more optimistic. As many traders panic sold fearing a bubble or crash, other traders took the opportunity to build bags and enter new markets at what many would feel were bargain prices.
