Hurricane Michael: Devastation!

At this very moment, the horrifying Hurricane Michael is making landfall as a category 4 hurricane with winds of 155 mph and a minimum pressure of 919 MB. This is the strongest hurricane to hit the area in about a decade, and even the Governor spoke a terrifying warning that no one will survive who doesn't heed the evacuation orders. He also made the following Tweet:
"Families under mandatory evacuation in the Panhandle and Big Bend need to move inland RIGHT NOW. The decisions you & your family make over the coming hours could be the difference between life & death."
The damages will be horrific as some people are going as far to say that this may have become a category 5 since its last analysis! More than 375,000 people up and down the Gulf Coast were urged to evacuate. But emergency authorities lamented that many people ignored the warnings and seemed to think they could ride it out. Our own Joseph Monte had the following to say:
I don't think they're officially going to rate this as a Cat 5 on landfall because we most likely will not see another advisory go out on Michael before it makes landfall, but hurricane hunters flying in the storm now are finding windspeeds well over 160 MPH with a pressure around 920 MB, plenty of reason to suggest that Michael will be a Cat 5 unofficially as it makes landfall.
In 150 years of record keeping, never has a storm even remotely close to this strong hit this area of the US... Unlike many of the storms which have recently hit the mainland US (Florence, Irma, Harvey, Matthew, Sandy) which had expanded wind fields, stalled, dumped tons of rain, etc., this one is a true Cat 4/Cat 5 with tight circulation and will barrel through the coast and have tornado-like effects well inland. It will be light damage until you get to the eyewall, and then it's going to look like a bomb went off.
In fact, as it stands now, this is the strongest storm to hit the US since Katrina (2005) and ranks in the top 5 most intense storm ever measured in the record books to hit the US.
This storm formed out of a very unfavorable upper-level wind pattern and has defied the odds by maintaining a pure tropical characteristic without the influence of any frontal boundaries this late in the season (incredibly rare), meanwhile, showing increasing strength so close to the coastline.

Nearly all religions believe we are presently in the "end times", that period of history when the world will undergo divine judgment, followed by the establishment of the everlasting Kingdom of God that is reserved for the chosen.
