Donald Trump fires his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson
Donald Trump fired his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and announced it via Twitter today.
The current CIA chief Mike Pompeo, who famously labelled Wikileaks a 'foreign agent' and aggressively pursued them, will take over as Secretary of State.
Trump reportedly despised Tillerson for being too 'establishment'. Really though, he must be slightly embarrassed by how many people have left his administration. This comes just a week or so after his comms director Hope Hicks quit.
To an outsider it certainly looks like a complete mess.
A spokesperson for the State Department had this to say:

See, and there were people that doubted that the trump administration could get even worse. Now they know better !
It's all starting to look like the administration Hillary would have selected from day 1.
