Geo Group, the modern face of Fascist America.

I have been reading up on the privatized prison industry, since the usa is the number one country in the world for jailing people, we have only 5 percent of the population of the planet, yet we have 20 percent of the planets prisoners, so I have been looking at some of the underlying causes of this situation.

Out front in alarming information is the fact that one of the nations leading prison companies Geo Group, a federal contractor, is spending money to lobby federal law makers.
Imagine how much they could benefit from federal contracts while they are actively giving money to law makers!
It's actually a violation of federal law to donate money to federal law makers while at the same time accepting federal contracts, but let's be honest, there are no law enforcement agencies who will prosecute legislators or prison industries for violating federal law.

Geo Group has made huge profits under the Trimp administration, their contracts are estimated at a value of 3.3 billion dollars, money which is largely provided by tax payers in the usa.
The Geo Group has made a huge return on their investments, they supported the Trimp campaign and donated money to the sHillary campaign, doubling down and hedging their bets, they also spent money lobbying legislators for tougher immigration policy.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency has been funneling suspects into custody through the use of new policy which allows for the detention of undocumented immigrants for up to six months on their first violation of immigration law, and as long as twenty years for their second violation.

The people being held by ICE and Geo Group are suffering inhumane treatment while in detention, they are being physically assaulted, sexually assaulted, being forced into slave labor, while being deprived of their universal and constitutional rights.
Prison guards at these Geo Group facilities are turning whistle blower because the working conditions are very bad, with some guards being forced to work back to back shifts of 12-16 hours, meaning that they could be in charge of up to 100 detainees for as many as 32 hours in a row or face being fired.
