How Cities in the future will look like?

We are living in a technological innovations era where technological miracles are taking place on daily basis. We are seeing a lot of interesting changes in the look of the modern cities. All these changes are possible due to the technological advancement. In this post i am gonna taking you to the cities such as those in China and Dubai which are going to be controlled and managed by robots and drones.

The Unmanned Drone Taxis in Dubai used by Dubai Police to reach the emergency more quickly

Dubai government is planning to install unmanned drone taxis that will help Dubai police to solve the emergency quickly. These can be used for cleaning, inspecting building and delivering things.

But there are some concerns that after some time the whole sky would be occupied by a large number of unmanned drone taxis and the ground below it will turn darker. Another concern is that humans will not tolerate the noise being made by the flying drones.

As you can see in the above picture where a robocop standing Burj Khalifa_the tallest tower in the world i Dubai. Dubai government is planning to replace 25 % of police force with the robotic police.

Functions of this robocop includes the following...

  1. It will help Dubai Police and will be used for the security purposes.
  2. Guide people to the place where they want to go. it uses a software that provide information in multiple languages.
  3. It allows people to use its microphones to contact to the Dubai Police call center for paying traffic fines.
  4. It will include an emergency button to inform Dubai police about your location.
  5. It will detect explosives and other dangers on the streets.

Robots and Drones in China

China is on the top regarding drone technology which is used for multiple purposes such as cleaning, repairing, delivering and surveillance etc.

A robot named E-Patrol Robot Sheriff has been installed at the Zhengzhou East Railway Station in Henan which has several cameras and sensors to detect criminal faces, a smile fire etc.

Similarly a robot named Anbot has been installed at the Shenzhen International Airport which has four on-board cameras for surveillance and security checks.

But there are concerns about the robots that are about to gain artificial intelligence (AI) and subsequently might turn against humanity and destroy humans' domination on this planet.

That's a very interesting topic and I think that we're not far from living a life like this.
I think robots & drones will change our lives, but I'm not sure if that will happen in a good or bad way - it could turn out to be very helpful and it could change everything. On the otherside it could end bad for us humans, could cause more accidents and could affect us in a worse way than what we were expecting! I'm very concerned about all this and that's why I think that we should wait a little longer to figure everything out before we make a move on this.

yes dear you are absolutely right. I think that robots and drones are good as long as they are controlled by humans but situation will be out of control if robots get 100 % artificial intelligence and turns against humans. Thanks for comments and upvotes. I think we should share these concerns all over the world before it gets too late.
