Six people were killed in separate road accidents in Faridpur. These accidents happened today in Sadar and Bhanga upazila of the district. There are three workers and one Indian citizen among the dead.

Three people were killed and 25 others injured in a road accident in Dhuldi Railgate area of ​​Makhur Union of Sadar upazila around 11pm.

Two eyewitnesses of the incident said that a bus of Dhaka-bound Eagle Paribahan collided with a motorcycle on the opposite side and hit a tree on the left side of the road after the accident. The front part of the bus hit the tree and hit it with the trees.

Faridpur fire service station senior officer Saifuzzaman said, due to the accident, the front part of the bus was crisp. One person was killed on the spot. After taking Faridpur Medical College Hospital, the doctors declared the rest to be dead.

One of the three killed in the accident has been identified. He is Sushant Mallik (50). He resides in Barasat area of ​​West Bengal, India. Sushant was killed on the spot. The names of the two who died in the hospital were not known. Their age is 35 to 40 years. One house is known to Rajbari and the house of another is in Savar of Dhaka.

Eyewitnesses said that after the incident, the locals blocked the highway to demand a speedy construction at the accident site. After an hour, Faridpur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Prabhanshu Shaw lifted the block when he assured the construction of the Greatest Traffic.

Wardmaster of Faridpur Medical College Hospital Sakhawat Mostafa said 25 people injured in the accident were admitted to Faridpur Medical Hospital.

Three workers died in another accident at 9am in Bhanga upazila. Accident of Dhaka-Khulna highway in Brahmanpara of Azimnagar union.

The deceased were identified as Milon Molla, 28, son of Lina Molla, and Chan Sheikh, 26, son of Alap Sheikh, and Rinku, 30, of Guptecher village under Shibchar upazila of Madaripur. Until the report was written, the address of Rinku's house was not known.

Officer-in-Charge of Bhanga Highway Police Station Ejazul Islam said there was a dense fog. A truck racket was standing on the spot.
