The CLOUD Act Fundamentally Abolishes the 4th Amendment
The CLOUD act violates the US constitution explicitly, and is an abomination that will be repeatedly abused- that's a guarantee. The fact that it was inserted as a rider in the dead of night, into a necessary spending bill, to prevent debate over its form, proves this.

How will any of this play out long term. I fear that we are heading toward some kind of clash in the future between centralized technocracy vs decentralized technocracy. I have brought this up fairly often before in conversation. But to me I feel like this power grab is more to combat the uncontrollable beasts that may sprout up in the forms of censorship resistant media.
