MyFreeCams- An Adult Cam Platform- Experiences Significant Downtime | Steemycam.com To The Rescue!
The adult industry's most-leading sex cam platform, MyFreeCams.com, has been experiencing significant downtime for the past several days. Connectivity issues began on July 07, 2017, and still continue for some today. The recent event caused us to dive deeper in the issue, and it seems that MFC has a long history of instability. Errors and complaints with the site date all the way back to 2010. With millions in revenue each month, it is baffling that they are struggling to keep doors open.
What is certain, is that they will lose thousands of users as they search for a more trusted and secure service. Several models took to community forums to express their anger:
After hours of users not being able to connect, the site confirmed issues via a twitter post, which stated:
"We are looking into the issue and the site should be back up shortly. We apologize for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience!"
Over the course of the next several days, the site posted updates going back-and-forth between resolution and downtime.
It is clear that MFC and other adult webcam platforms could do a better job in communicating issues with its customers. As we prepare to launch Steemycam.com, it is important we keep in mind the "pains" of our customers. Seeing as many are experiencing a lack of support, we plan to stand-out from the crowd by offering top-notch communication.
An email has been sent to MFC in regards to the source of downtime and when full services will be restored. We will update this post once a response has been received (if we get one).
