Beautiful article. As someone who have the privilege to read news in multiple languages and multiple countries, I know for a fact that all media are biased. For example, All Australian media is pro-west, pro-USA, while all Chinese media is pro-China, pro-party. This is not about freedom of speech, oppression or democracy at all. Unfortunately, I know of many people in Australia who thinks that they are in a democratic country and therefore the media must be fair and true. At least most people from China knows their news are biased and needed to be taken with a grain of salt.
