Pastor Apologizes for Groping Ariana Grande at Funeral
Oh dear goodness, this comes as sheer surprise as I was writing a post about Grande’s inappropriate attire at the funeral of Aretha Franklin. I was writing in query of how the secular song “…Natural Woman” was chosen for her to sing on the altar of God’s House. In another draft, I was writing about how the Church can sometimes be the worse place for children to receive guidance from ‘mentors’.
All of that went out the window when I read the news that the Bishop officiating at the funeral held her inappropriately.
As I was busy writing about Grande’s inappropriate dress and song, I am stunned by the clergy’s behavior. While people were listening to him ‘joke’ about thinking she was something on the “Taco Bell” menu, she allegedly was being ‘handled’ in plain view by a man of the cloth (pun intended).
Things regarding issues of morality have got to get better people… from all directions. For the elders to silently stand by and, let her not only wear an inappropriate dress on the altar; but, make matters more degrading to the Church by singing one of the most secular of songs on the altar, will be held accountable.
