I am very sad to hear that today October 2nd 2017 we have lost another one of the musical greats. Tom Petty died today at age 66

I'm so sorry to hear that. He was a great songwriter. I had the chance to meet him once at my dad's house of all places.

That's sad to hear... I can't say I was ever really into his music, but that doesn't mean I couldn't respect him for being a heck of a musician and an influence on anyone who heard him. I'll have to put on a playlist and give it another listen.

Sad news indeed, I'll have to re-watch his 4 hour documentary in honour of his contributions to the global music scene !

Sad day in the music industry. I've been a musician for right at 30 years. It seems like Tom Petty's music was always there. Probably because I was born in 77. His first album was in 76. I guess I'll be playing some Petty tonight.
