America has become a police state. I have no confidence that they will emulate the French. They are too scared to anything more than a light, insignificant protest.
The gun owners resides in the rural low populated areas, far far away from places like NYC where the rich reside with strict gun laws to protect their wealth.
@snoreball Gun owners are in the big cities by the tens of millions. Every big city has dozens of gun stores and they sell guns like crazy. What you meant to say was left liberal city dwellers own very few firearms, and conservative city dwellers have several firearms per person. I live in Los Angeles, and all my neighbors own guns and trust me, no one would dare try to break into their houses or they would be shot dead before they crossed thru the front door. Come on out to one of our city fire ranges sometime and see for yourself. You will see guns you never even thought were in existence, and they are extremely powerful firearms.
