PSA, major recall of Chicken from Tyson foods!
About 8.5 Million pounds of pre-cooked Chicken (so far) has been recalled through Tyson foods, due to possible Listerua monocytogenes Contamination!
PLEASE check your freezer for any of this chicken.
If you're a prepper, and pressure can your own chicken; this will not affect you....

Here is the 'Meat' of this recall...sorry couldn't resist that, LOL! BUT this is serious, this meat can make your family very ill. So, be cautious, family is precious; and can't be replaced!
One person is already dead, with three hospitalized; in two unspecified states! We need to be careful here, it's just not worth the risk!
Tyson Foods Inc., a Dexter, Mo. establishment, is recalling approximately 8,492,832 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.The frozen, fully cooked chicken products were produced between December 26, 2020 and April 13, 2021.
These are precooked, which makes them a little more dangerous, because people trust precooked items most of purchased food.

The fact that the CDC is involved, implies that this may not be a voluntary recall. If we assume that these precooked chicken morsels cost about $3 a pound, this recall will cost over $25,000,000.00 to Tyson Foods. This will certainly affect their stock prices.
These "BIG FOOD" corporations are a menace.
Agreed, this recall will take them down a peg or two! Couldn't happen to a better bunch....
