The delightful Italian town that will pay you to move there: Mayor proposes 2,000 Euro to people who will help increase Candela's declining population.
Mayor of pleasing Italian town is offer money for those people who move there after the population decrease rapidly.
Nicola Gatta wants to come back Candela, a small middle age town in Puglia.
In the 90s the town had 8,000 population but now it has shrink to just 2,700 which has squeeze the economy.

Gotta said, Up until the 1960s, travelers called it 'Nap'licchie', for it streets full of merchants, wayfarers, screaming vendors and tourists.
Thanks to a concerned economy, many of town's young citizens have left in search for work and excitement somewhere else.

The Mayor’s deputy, Stefano Bascianelli, declared that 800 euros will be paid for singles who willing to relocate to Candela.

Whereas 1,200 euros will be offered for couples, 1,500 to 1,800 euros for 3 member families, and more than 2,000 euros for families of 4 to 5 people.

In order to meet the criteria for the cash incentive, new residents must shift to Candela where they rent a house and have a job with a salary of at least 7,500 euros per year.
