Mainstream Media
Almost all of America’s mainstream media is owned and controlled by just 6 companies. So unless you are already trying to avoiding these mainstream media sources, then almost all of the news & entertainment that you get on your T.V. comes from a small group of sources, all of this plays an important role in providing propaganda, social programming and the perpetual crisis narrative to the general population.
The big six are: General Electric, News Corp., Disney, Viacom, Time Warner and CBS.
If we look at what is in the mass media, it is simple to see what type of society these 6 companies are trying to create. They have the ability to change reality by calling staged shows ‘reality’ shows. Anything that does not support mainstream narratives and the consumer agenda are excluded, the reports about self-sufficient people over-coming a conflict without the dependence of government are rarely if ever raised.
The promotion of superficial, greedy, self-centered values, and the evident dumbing-down of the American population is coming at us from the 6 main companies. These companies glorify obedience, consumption, ignorance, the hyper-sexualization of children, the glorification of war, government surveillance, and so on. The advertisers that support these companies have a huge amount of control over what makes it on the T.V. They are used to control public comprehension.
Mainstream media is a monster of special interests and brainwashing. the human story is removed in this capitalistic, for-profit scam. This is why the independent, alternative media is such a present for the human race.
They have a huge global reach in all forms of media, these companies change our world by producing coverage of our lives, analyses of our world, entertainment to kill time, and even a distraction for our kids.
