Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visits Italy

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka on a flight of Emirates Airlines from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:55 am on Sunday, 11 February.

Prime Minister's media wing sources confirmed the matter. Media branch said, romabhittika agency IFAD to attend the annual session of the Italian Prime Minister Paulo jenatiloni the visit at the invitation of the Prime Minister. The next 1 to 14 February at the session will be held.

During the visit Sheikh Hasina will hold a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. The meeting will discuss the cooperation of trade, investment, tourism and environment in the two countries
. In addition, Italy, the Prime Minister will attend an event organized by the expatriate Bangladeshis.

Besides, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will also visit Vatican City and meet Vatican President Pope Francis. In November of last year, Pope Francis, the head priest of Catholic Christians, visited Bangladesh.
