Asus anuncio su nueva tarjeta madre especializada para minería de criptomonedas, la B250 Expert Mining Motherboard. Entre sus propiedades más destacadas se cuenta que posee puertos para 19 tarjetas de video (GPU).

Esta nueva tarjeta madre tendrá un valor de 130$, tal y como ha sido anunciado, aparte de la cantidad de puertos que presentará, tendrá otras 4 características enfocadas para la minería: tres puertos independientes para las fuentes de poder, detección automática del estado de las GPU conectadas, un BIOS optimizado para la minería y 19 capacitadores sólidos para estabilizar el voltaje.!

Los primeros equipos (de muestra) saldrán al mercado este 22 de agosto, así como el comienzo de su producción masiva.

Con estas características no será necesaria la compra de accesorios para sincronizar las fuentes de poder (porque cada grupo de GPU estará conectada a una fuente de poder). Además se podrá observar cómo va la conexión de las tarjetas al momento de ensamblar el rig de minado; el BIOS informará (sin el arranque del Sistema Operativo) si existe algún error con las tarjetas o con los capacitadores para estabilizar el voltaje de cada tarjeta, de esta manera se podrá obtener el mejor rendimiento de cada una.

Entre las características generales, para cualquier tarjeta madre, tiene un chipset B250 con un Socket LGA 1151 que le permitirá soportar procesadores Intel de sexta hasta séptima generación; soportará hasta 32 GB de memoria RAM DDR4 en canal dual con frecuencias de 2400 MHz y poseerá un DIGI+ VRM de 6 fases para generar una estabilidad óptima del CPU. Aparte de estas propiedades, poseerá una buena cantidad de puertos de conexión SATA III para los discos duros, USB 3.0 y 2.0, de red, HDMI y de audio.

La característica más importante es que hasta el momento los drives desarrollados por AMD y Nvidia solo permiten un máximo de 8 GPUs conectadas en una misma tarjeta madre. De acuerdo a esto, si saliera a la venta el día de mañana solo podrían usar 16 tarjetas de video, siendo 8 tarjetas de AMD y 8 de Nvidia. En el mismo anuncio afirman que para finales de 2017, AMD sacará un nuevo driver que permitirá la conexión de hasta 19 GPU por tarjeta madre, para poder sacarle el máximo provecho al componente.

Este movimiento de ASUS, va de la mano a su visión actual hacia el mercado de la minería de criptomonedas, en el cual ha estado apostando desde que lanzó sus GPU para minería Asus Mining-P106-6G y Mining-RX470-4G. Incluso sigue innovando en el área, al desarrollar esta tarjeta madre, que incluso con 16 puertos actualmente funcionales, estaría superando la tarjeta madre Biostar TB250-BTC PRO de 12 ranuras y la de Asrock H110 Pro BTC+ de 13 ranuras.

Solo queda decir quien tenga el dinero para llenar esos 19 Slot PCIE sera afortunado porque podra generar buenos ingresos, logico para obtener esos ingresos debera invertir buen capital.
