YouTube under attack right now! Ourmine hackers are back.
Chaos right now all over the YouTube platform as about 29K videos' titles and descriptions have been replaced with the following: "OurMine Are Back!... ( Read the description ) Hey, it's OurMine don't worry we are just testing your security, please contact us for more information" plus a website link and and an email address.
See for yourself: type "OurMine Are Back" in YouTube's search bar, then look at the number of results...

Update: it looks like many of the hacked accounts are celebrity/quasi-celebrity/verified youtubers...

Well if you were to exploit YouTube's infrastructure, how would you make it known with doing the least damage while still getting the street cred? By doing what we're seeing.

As an old troll, I do. I'm just not that impressed unless the damage is notable. Targeting niche accounts in the hack isn't all that impressive and there is no humor element behind this that I can see. It's just stupid. Now if they got half the accounts out there randomly, then that'd be something to talk about.
I think the attack just started a few mins ago, possibly...

I saw this today on one of the channels I watch. I'm glad they didn't hit mine.
It looks like they are targeting specific groups of channels.
