Venezuelas currency down 16% in one day - if you are a non-communist venezuelean, comment and recieve 100% upvote
The Bolivar is disintegrating. Two days ago one dollar would buy 14,100 bolivars. Yesterday it was 17,000 to one US dollar. Today it's 20,000 bolivars for one USD. 40% in three days.
One kilo of rice cost 17,000 bolivares. Imagine your currency being so worthless that you have to pay 17,000$ for a kg of rice.
I'm (not really) amazed how little the mainstream media reports from Venezuela, and especially on economics. In Norwegian mainstream media they are referring to the Venezuelean government as "dictatorship". Socialism or Communism is not mentioned ever.

I hope this reaches some Venezuelans. It's unbelievable what's happening over there and a lot of people who didn't advocate for this nonsense are caught in the crossfire...

Well, there's no surprise there! Politicians and presstitutes love to blow Venezuela's dick over their socialistic policies and say how the rest of the West should embrace the fiscal/social policies they have! But when those same policies result in hyper-inflation, shortages in necessities, and riots throughout the nation, everyone stays silent and doesn't acknowledge that fact whatsoever.
