Donald Trump Named Time Magazine’s Person of The Year
It seems like Donald Trump is having a great year. First he became the president elect of the USA and now he has been named Time magazine’s person of the year.
Trump managed to defeat the other candidates on the list which included names like Hillary Clinton, Beyonce, Mark Zuckerberg, Narendra Modi and six others.
In an online poll that Time magazine ran, it was India’s prime minister who became the Time magazine’s person of the year - Reader’s Poll meaning he won the popular vote.
The editorial team at Time magazine chose Donald Trump as this year’s person of the year. Not surprising at all considering how he has become a household name right now after almost half a year of campaign.
I saw it! It would have been better if TIME had named him "Person Of The Current Year", though :)
I really can't believe he got it. I mean, winning the presidency was surprising for sure, but Time magazine, too? What is the world coming to...
