🗞 London wants to withdraw license: Uber promises more security
After scandals and millions of losses Uber is, to make it all, threatened to lose the license in London. Now the company promises more safety for its trips.
Uber, on the verge of losing its licenses in London has announced new security measures for its UK offer. The authorities had accused Uber of carelessly dealing with crime and not checking its drivers adequately.
In order to avoid the license withdrawal, the company plans a 24-hour telephone service, in addition customers will receive more information about the drivers of Uber. In addition, the car service provider wants to directly report all problems that occur during a trip to the police - so far, passengers or drivers had to be active by themselves.
Last year Uber made it into the news with scandals and legal conflicts. It wasn't even a success financially - the company made a loss of 4.5 million euros in 2017. Most recently, the provider appeared in the media because a gunman in Florida drove with Uber to his attack in a school.
The London Transport Authority had decided to not renew the license for the carrier service provider. Uber appealed and may therefore continue to operate in the British capital for the time being - the case is to be negotiated in early summer. Uber claims to have 50,000 drivers in the UK, including 40,000 in London and 3.5 million customers.

That's kind of ridiculous blaming for driving the gunman to his school. They're just regular people trying to make ends meat, not trained security professionals.
So sad for Uber.The main casue carelessly dealing, not checking its drivers adequately.I mean this is important issue.But it is hard to imagine who is gunman or who is businessman.They aspect as the passengers.
