Someone I know reads Newsweek and informed me moments ago of the mention Steemit received this month. It was brief but unquestionably important in pushing forward the organic growth of this platform!

Word is starting to spread. There is a lot that is happening on the steem blockchain with steemit being just one app. We are going to see this blockchain grow unbelievably over the next couple years. Tens of millions of people will be on it since the SMTs most likely are going to be used by a ton of different outfits looking to monetize their sites.

If that happens all of us who are here NOW will be big BIG Bloggers without much effort as we already produced loads of stuff.
Great incentive to think about. I believe you are correct. With so few people on here it is only a matter of time before the masses start to move over. We just need to keep up the writing and posting to build a huge "catalog".

It's funny they say we can define our own set of rules. Anyway, great to see Steemit gaining attention.
I think what they mean is we can choose 50/50 SBD/SP or 100% SP or decline payment. Those are the only rules I know of ;)
Well, technically the protocol allows for more complex distributions, and the Communities upgrade even more so if we ever get it. The 50/50 SBD/SP or 100% SP or decline are limitations of this particular Condenser UI.
It's Beginning... Expect to see more of this. Soon your friends and family will be asking you: "So what's this Steemit thingy I keep hearing about?"

Hey, all news is good news. My wife and I have been watching blacklist and they mention all sort of crypto currencies on there. I don't know if it's from the show or from me talking about it, but she definitely asks about cryptos more now.
I even managed to even get my mother into it. I set up an account here but she doesn't seem to use it. She did at least invest into BTC a year ago ;)
