Could this be a pre-cursor for the expected pump in price when Smart Media Tokens come into play?

Or perhaps it is because the Korean marketplce Upbit has just started trading Steem & SBD?

    I believe it is something to do with Steem & SBD being added to a Korean market place. So, lots of speculators started buying. In time things will settle back down. For now we enjoy the crazy ride of crypto!

          Indeed, The whole market is rising with the tide. My mom bought her first bitcoin 3 days ago she spent $350 and now has $440 she is like what... and she jumped on the phone and started telling her girlfriends about it. So you know when mom's and there friends start to buy that it is all going to the MOON! I just reached 1000 followers on STeemit and life is good. Glad you got your account back and that @dan thought to use time as a measure of security.

                Still not comfortable with cryptocurrency yet and not completely sure what this means, but I transferred $100 of Steem Dollars into Steem yesterday when it was around $1.5, so I assume this is a good thing and I have changed it at the right time!
