A major attack on the mosque in Egypt, 235 deaths, hundreds injured
The big bang is reported on a mosque in Sinai, Egypt's northern province. In this blast, 200 people have been killed and hundreds have been injured. According to local reports, suspected extremists attacked the mosque with the first bomb and then fired. Eyewitnesses told the Egyptian media that during the Namaz, this incident took place in a mosque near Al-Arish in Al-Rawda.
A few weeks before, there was a major extremist attack on Egyptian troops in Sinai. Egypt is battling Islamic extremism in this area. Extremist attacks on the area are increasing after the removal of then President Mohamed Morsi in 2013.
