Good analysis. I agree that control over energy supplies was a key factor in sparking the Western intervention into Syria in 2011 turning a domestic political crisis into a regional conflict.
Iran is the ultimate goal for Western imperialism once 'control' has been reimposed over Syria, Lebanon, Turkey and Iraq.
