7 members of DB, including 17 lakh taka in the army's custody
Police sub-inspector ran away after fleeing the glass
Seven members of the Detective Branch were detained by the army forces while they were snatching 17 lakh taka from a person in Teknaf. This incident happened in Shamlapur area of Teknaf's Marine Drive. During the search of the army forces, a sub-inspector of the police escaped with the collapse of the car glass. The soldiers detained them in the car and 17 lakh rupees of the ransom.
Major Nazim Ahmad of Teknaf's temporary army camp confirmed the arrest of 7 DB police with Tk 17 lakh.
