Perhaps a greatest & incredible story of mankind rescue where 2 mountaineers got into difficulties at #NangaParbat.Other climbers at K2 abandoned their feat to rescue.climbed a vertical wall at night in temp -45 & 3-times faster than anyone thought possible.This is some heroism climbing in dark.They found 1(Eli),they had to abandon the other casualty.Humanity is awe & pain.Tomeck u are a beloved one for Nanga Parbat
RIP... I feel so sad for this guy. Even after all the efforts, the rescuers were just unable to continue his search because of the weather. Such a heartbreaking news to hear that they have just abandoned him. But against that weather there's not much they could have done.
