Auto plane assaults NATO caravan in Afghanistan

KANDAHAR: An auto aircraft assaulted a NATO guard in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar on Sunday, killing one non military personnel and injuring four others however without causing setbacks among universal powers, authorities said.

Qudratullah Khushbakht, a representative for the Kandahar senator, said the assault occurred on the airplane terminal street, executing a lady and injuring four other individuals.

However a representative for the NATO-drove Resolute Support mission said there had been no wounds among troops in the caravan.

"We can affirm a suicide aircraft endeavored an assault on a watch in Kandahar, Afghanistan, prior today. In any case, there were no fatalities or wounds maintained by coalition powers," the representative said in a messaged explanation.
