RE: China Aims For Near-Total Surveillance, Including in People's Homes

in #news6 years ago

seems like chinese ppl also need freedom like Iraq and Libya..

Sort:

China is the oldest society in existence, and how ever bad it is, we must give them credit for their openness.

They are not hiding the plans of their Social Credit system. Where we in the west have the very same systems being implemented by our governments but all kept secret, and we only see rapid law changed to pave the road toward such system yet the system itself we may not see.
The law changes still say enough about what they have in store for us.

With that I try to show that China may probably not follow Iraq / Libya. But that our western world has a far bigger chance to collapse as we can see ever more people getting aware of the implementation of the tyranny system. And getting ever more pissed that their money is used to build the very system they don't have anything to say about.

As people see that this is NOT democracy but dictatorship.

A soft-coupe

You are exagerating IMO but these are important questions. Stay alert ! Followed ;-)

where do i appear to exaggerate? BTW Keep in mind that i'm in Europe

Well then I don't believe "our governments" are secretly implementing systems that will turn democracy into tyranny.

I don't know them all so maybe one or two might be able to do that. For the rest, they are too busy fighting internally for control and too incompetent for what you attribute to them.

Our governments (in Europe) are barely able to implement a working web site, let alone a survelliance system ...

We have democratic systems and democratic systems cannot turn into tyrannies by stealth (I'm ready to debate, I might be missing something). Democracies turn into tyrannies not due to technocratic "system building" but only through the oversized charisma of a Tyrant-in-the-making.

Currently I know of only one developed country that is at risk of creepingly turning into a dictatorship, and that is on the other side of the Pond. The Orange-outan has charisma and could subvert the system.

For the time being nobody in Europe is nearly as close as him to becoming a dictator.

Our elected officials are not the law but they get to write a tiny number of laws for a short while. Persistent lobbying in the long run has influence on the result. It happens slowly. Meanwhile the media auctions off our perception of the world which also has influence in the long run. Then there are the people duped by these lobbyists and this media circus as these are very good at tricking people and have deep pockets the subjects in turn selflessly keep spreading the nonsense.

I fear giving examples for that reason and because they tend to be confused for the topic but okay...

Say you have some brilliant idea like say uhhh... lets have scientific lectures on national TV. This idea of yours wont magically trend to the political steemit front page, it just wont happen. The proverbial political front page is for talking about Islam and migration only as those are the heavily funded topics. Even if you would limit your thoughts to the forced context like uhhh... say we rebuild Lybia into something nice? Then you still wont get any attention as the agenda is a a mixture of 1) divide and conquer the population into opposing camps, 2) get cheap labor, 3) destroy the EU, 4) prepare the citizens for the next war. The 4 of those have different powers behind them with some shared between.

Take for example the way the Chinese government promotes nationalism by portraying foreigners as racists. They obviously have to wonder what it would cost to buy that racism into reality. If it also destroys the EU their might be big funds available for it. Turns out this is incredibly cheap! Specially since the Russians, the US and Israel share this agenda. How to further boost the effect? Simple! Help people migrate to the EU! Wasn't Gaddafi offering this service in exchange for his death? Brilliant!

European corporations stare blindly at quarterly reports. For them this cheap labor is fantastic. The citizens are nicely divided, they have something to argue about.

The global war industry (which is huge) is salivating over all this hate. For them this is a truly glorious development. If they can cheaply participate in this crowd funding campaign many will. Its much cheaper than trying to escalate a war between Europe and Russia or trying to get the US to attack Iran. If the Chinese are sick enough to financially participate in those efforts I don't know but they would have to consider it.

The point of pushing the topic is not to look for answers, they just want the problems. Even an endless gay marriage debate is already enough to keep you distracted.

Meanwhile tax havens and shell companies are hurling the worlds wealth around and private banks have the monopoly on creating money. How they are taking all of our money will never be a trending topic. It just wont happen.

I'm afraid the way you still believe to be in control only makes it worse but lets hope I'm entirely wrong about this.

I'm not (by nature) as pessimistic (nor as worried). I appreciate there are others (like you) who feel more inclined to keep a wary eye on these things. I tend to be naive and optimistic ...

We seem to be on the same side, yet i don't have to 'believe'. I see the laws change, and those changes are not in our favour but in the favour of a system that can only be described as tyrannic due to those very law changes.
The politicians may preach all they want, but if they preach one thing to the public and change laws in the very opposite direction then that's again a sign of tyranny.
Practice what you preach is the answer. Yet they practice what they DON'T preach.
And all they do is hide what they try to do. If they were brave enough to be 100% transparent to the taxpayers then I may eventually be able to change my mind IF the FACTS then would show me wrong.
So they have to thank it to themselves to be seen as tyrants, since they BEHAVE as such.
Solution: Don't behave liker tyrants in the first place and they may actually get people behind them for a change.
We don't have a democratic system if they do the opposite of what the people want. We merely have the illusion of a democracy that is held high by media mouthpieces who repeat whatever is dictated.
Is that a form of Dictatorship? Not sure how that works.

European countries are more like Enclaves of the blob on 'the other side of the pond'.
The UK looks like it has become the latest real state (real estate) of the USA since brexit went trough.
Or maybe it is just used to cause more friction in europe. It's to early to see where that is going to end.

I don't like Trump one bit, but at least he is doing what Bush and Obama should have done a long time ago. Still Trump seems to be a man who I could still communicate with on an equal ground. And that's certainly not an option with the other two. But that's my personal opinion.

The USA should simply stop to meddle in the politics of other countries. We all know they do, we all know it has become a bloody mess. So it's good that wikileaks showed us right on everything we expected for years.

I can only hope that things will change for the better as it really shouldn't get worse then it already is.

Transparency, shorter and broader communication lines between the governed and the governing are the key

yes but that the very thing they don't like, they have no problem with showing numbers, but don't like to explain how they got to those numbers... And then lots of time gets wasted to get to the bottom of something simple. :-) But if that can be simplified then a lot of time and money can be saved for sure.
