Crypto Twitter Is My Go To For Crypto News
Source
Whenever someone asks me where I get my information from I tell them Crypto Twitter (CT). Today was a great representation of why. There were two tweet storms, history lessons about ICO mania and Central Banks and many other valuable conversations about Bitcoin & money.
The first tweet storm was by someone I don't follow, @simonlutz21 , but I did after I read his thread. It is about the BIS (Bank of International Settlements) in Switzerland. The core of the tweet storm is they are an unaccountable power in the world and they laundered Nazi gold for fiat to power Hitler's war machine. An eye opening read about what bitcoin is really up against.

The second tweet storm I read this morning was by @arebedout. It was actually a warning and a history lesson about speculative investing mania and the bandits that operate during them. The subject was "The Glenmutchkin Railway" a book from the mid 1800's. It's the story of how, during a bubble, people will play on your feelings and just make shit up to reel in your cash. While the book was a work of fiction, it could have beeneasily applied to almost any ICOs of late.
Here is a link to the tweet storm. Worth a read before you think about investing in an ICO. https://twitter.com/arbedout/status/961991502221250564
Which led me to this great thread on Ethereum by Vijay Boyapati Get to the end of this and follow the link which will tie in with the next story below.

These tweets also led me to an article about ETH's death spiral. Who will be the last bag holder, especially between competitors?

Which led me to a tweet about Citigroup rushing to get a bitcoin trading product to market. It appears to be issuing paper, not the asset which is bad fucking news. A derivative.

Think of CT as the town square for crypto conversation, except you have direct access to any of the speakers all of the time. Those speakers bring the latest news and deepest conversations directly to you as long as you know who to follow. Occasionally they will take the piss by memeing and shitposting, but that's life.
Some of the people I would encourage you to follow for good bitcoin & monetary information.
And of course the 3 people refernced at the beginning. Form their tweets, retweets and likes you will be connected to other valuable voices in the community. Good luck!
