What I meant is just posting a link to your steemit account from your youtube/facebook/site. It's just that there are so many shitscammers going around making fake steemit accounts pretending to be popular youtube channels like yours. It'll really help your account's success if you "validate" it so to speak.
I added my Steemit account to our channels about us page as well as added Steemit to the automatic upload defaults so that every future post made on Youtube will contain my Steemit URL.
