'There is nothing to worry about China's relations with China

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said there is nothing to worry about Bangladesh's relationship with China. He said Bangladesh's cooperation with China is only for the development of the country.

Sheikh Hasina said this at a press conference with a delegation of Indian journalists at the Government House on Tuesday. Journalists from Kolkata and New Delhi came to participate in the three-day Bangladesh-India Media Dialogue

Sheikh Hasina said her government is ready to extend cooperation with any country that will help the country's growth.

According to the United Nations, Bangladesh is the world's least developed country (LDC) with population and economic direction. In a report last year, the UN said, Bangladesh will be able to overcome the LDC by 2024. This will be possible through improving health and education and economic development.

Sheikh Hasina said at a press conference with a delegation of Indian journalists, "We want the investment and cooperation of those countries interested in investment and cooperation. We want development of the country. We have to think about the people. Because they will enjoy the benefits of these development. " The Prime Minister also said that India, China, Japan, and even Middle East countries are coming forward to cooperate with Bangladesh. India has nothing to worry about.

The Prime Minister said, 'I would rather advise, India should maintain good relations with neighboring countries including Bangladesh. This can be better in this area. We can show the world that we work together. '

Sheikh Hasina said there are excellent relations between Bangladesh and India. This country has set an example for solving problems like two maritime boundaries and land boundary. He said, 'If any problems arise, then we will solve it as per the past. We want to build a peaceful South Asia. '

The Prime Minister said during her tenure in 1996-2001, the water sharing agreement between the two countries was signed. In its second term, the settlement of maritime boundary and land boundary was resolved. China has promised to strengthen military relations with Bangladesh Beijing wants strengthening defense relations by strengthening military training and enhancing technical cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier, China had said that there are plans to lend less than 900 million dollars to build six rail projects to Bangladesh. These rail projects are near an Indian border.

Bangladesh seeks help from India for Rohingya rejection plan The Prime Minister said, "We want India to force Myanmar to return quickly to its displaced people." He gave directions to the Foreign Ministry to negotiate with five countries which have border with Myanmar, including India. He hopes this initiative will help solve the Rohingya.★
