Some do not remember Trump

George Papadopoulos acknowledged last month that he was liable to investigate allegations of Russian intervention in US presidential elections. He is a former campaign associate of President Donald Trump. But Trump does not remember the meeting with this associate.

Trump said on Friday, "I can not remember much about the meeting. That was a very important meeting.

According to documents submitted by Robert Mueller, the Special Counsel on Russia's intervention allegation, Papadopoulos acknowledged that he lied to the US Federal Investigation Agency (FBI) about Russian involvement. Papadopoulos was in the meeting of foreign policy advisers in March 2016 in Trump's campaign. There he said that he has contacts in Russia through which he will be able to organize a meeting of the presidential candidate Trump with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On the eve of the start of Asia tour, when the attention of the trump was attracted, he said that he did not remember much about the meeting with Papadopoulos.

The New York Times said that Carter Page, a former Foreign Policy Advisor on Trump Campaign in the presidential election, admitted that he went to Moscow to meet with Russian government officials in the midst of the campaign. He acknowledged this while giving testimony to the Secretariat Committee of the lower house of the United States Parliament on Thursday.
