Bias Based Police Task Force Created in Fresno
After a mass shooting in Fresno California that left four dead and six wounded, the Fresno police chief Andy Hall announced that an "Asian Gang Task Force" will be created to deal with crimes involving Asians in Fresno.
America is a melting pot, people from various nations reside in the country. If there is a task force specifically for Asians then this task force will be specifically and negatively targeting Asians. There is no need for an Asian task force. The police task force is supposed to protect and serve everyone in the country. There is no need for specific forces for specific groups of people based on nationality because this adds to segregation, discrimination, and prejudice. Instead, there should be everyone under the same umbrella following the same laws and receiving the same protection and service from the same police.
