GTU Punjab said to Implement the Kothari Education Commission Policy immediately by Captain Government instead of New Education Policy.
In new policy there’s recommended to have contracts teachers. While in 1964-66 policy is about to recruit regular teachers.
In Punjab there’s urgent need to do master to lecturer promotion so that there’s possibility to recruit masters in Punjab government schools.
On every occasion of 15 August there's tradition to give District Awards to teachers.
It's very surprise to see that most of time it's given to people who working in offices instead of teaching in schools.
Govt needs to pay attention while distributing these awards. There's great need to honour of awards. Teachers working in offices got awards as they are in link of district authorities. It's not a good trend.
Online education in government schools.
ICT has great scope in India.
If all state government adopts Edusat and online education in their regular workings then it can solve many serious issues of education.
All states have some ICT National Awardees, Government can make appropriate use of them to implement online education in their states. They can also take help from CIET of NCERT New Delhi to have better understanding of ICT in Education.
Administrative position like HM, principal must be filled through promotions on the basis of their experience in the department. Directly recruited are not very experienced to handle the administrative issues. For these posts seniority is the best way to promote teachers to head posts.
