The Balanced Truth Behind H&M's "Coolest Monkey" Insult

The recent uproar surrounding H&M's "Coolest Monkey In The Jungle" hoodie being showcased on a black kid is drawing even more attention now.

South African mobs have demonstrated their righteous fury in the most counterproductive, self-demeaning way possible. Well, almost the most, since I could think of worse methods. Still, these mobs which are targeting H&M stores for maximum destruction have only served to tangle themselves like obedient puppets in a bad dance.

Why would I say such a thing? Anyone watching closely, especially those aware of Pike's letter detailing social cataclysm as a means to an end, will recognize this whole episode for what it actually is. H&M deliberately triggered this as one more contribution to incite social schism via racial differences. They were betting on the sort of reaction seen in South Africa, and they won the bet! The dignity of African peoples has been sabotaged, partly by their own.

This will only harm the noble desire to foster advances and genuine power among those of African descent. Notice that this took place at roughly the same time as the record-breaking swell of admiration and anticipation of the upcoming Black Panther movie, which will display Africans as a wise, advanced people. It's a much-needed and long overdue portrayal, but this positive example is being deliberately and predictably undermined by H&M's manipulated mob violence. The social conflict of influence and attitude is even reminiscent of Black Panther's dynamic of two very differently strong Wakandan men battling to lead their people. One is entitled, self-justified, vindictive, and warlike while the other is regal, dignified, wise, and seeks first the well-being of his people even above himself. One is a criminal in every sense of the word, diminishing his people's dignity by mistaking raw power for strength, and fear for respect. The other is respected worldwide and his word is heeded by greatness. A king.

It's difficult to see people violently upset over this while maintaining a straight face. Does anyone else see the hilarious reality that we are all genetic derivatives of apes? Okay, monkeys are not of the same category as apes since those cheeky little primates had the good fortune to possess prehensile tails, but still... Our species is basically the coolest monkey in the earth jungle, second only to capuchins, which are actual monkeys and much cooler than most people.

I actually agree with the stance that H&M knew exactly what they were doing when they showcased a black kid in this, and it was not an act of offhand ignorance, love, or good-natured humor. But, justifying its message by animalistic tantrums instead of evolved methods of putting the company in their place? That deserves to be mocked as much as the transgression which inspired it. They might as well have flung their own feces at the glass.

A wise, mature, and spiritually powerful black society would pity H&M, viewing the whole affair as beneath them, because it is. I have no doubt that many actually do set such a standard of enlightenment. It's a shame that social-engineer-owned media isn't putting THOSE stories out there for the world to react to.
