The Philippines is hosting the summit this year as ASEAN'S Chairman.Earlier in the evening,President Duterte and his partner Honeyley Avancena,gave a warm welcome to other heads of state visiting the country.

President Duterte played the gracious host to 20 leaders from ASEAN'S ten members and its dialogue partners as they arrived at the SMX CONVENTION CENTER in Pasay City.

The ASEAN heads and their dialogue partners were likewise dressed in Filipino attire.

In a photo,Opportunity,President Duterte stood side by side with the towering Trump to his right as they exchanged a few words in between the takes.

The two leaders also sat next to each at the dinner table with President Trump sharing a toast with Duterte first,then Honeylet Avancena.
