Twitter had me clicking on an interesting looking repo from Github on acadmemic research into Bitcoin https://cdecker.github.io/btcresearch/ - just reading the titles made me feel smarter.
I ended with a coindesk article on the perils of incorrectly used terminology in the cryptospace - http://www.coindesk.com/killing-cryptocurrency-time-retire-term/ .
