No Dan, you're not just paranoid, 1984 is here. Boiling frog effect is working perfectly, small increments, that's all it takes for the sheep to buy into this whole convenience scheme. As far as I'm concerned there shouldn't be even automatic transmissions in cars, if you can't drive, don't drive, I know, but that's gone long time ago. Eventually convenience will be our demise.
