Early election results in Belgium... Chaos imminent!
Centre loses, far Right and far Left win
A complete chaos of Belgian politics is very likely. The far right political party of Vlaams Belang wins hugely (gain of over 12%), together with a win for the far left of PVDA (over 3,5 %) gain.
The center parties that were part of the last government all lose terrain. With NVA still being the biggest party with around 26 %.

A very tough round of political lobbying will be the case to make a government out of this...
This could be a turning point in Belgian history, and maybe even the start of the separation of the country.

This rise of far right is truly troubling but I still think that majority of people in Europe are sane and don't believe in all the hate that these small group of people are trying to promote 🙏
Mmm, the problem is that the far right has been ignored for a long time... And the “elite” political families have just kept doing the same: Enrich themselves!

I find it strange that the far right and right parties gain som much. They blame immigration as a source of all the problems. At the same time they are always eager to go to war. Wars are, as most people know, the nr 1. source of creating refugees.
Here in Belgium, the far right has always been in the opposition...

Norway too, but for last 7 years they have been i coalition with, right, and "liberal". Fortunately they have been loosing a lot of votes because of all the promises they made and didn't fulfil.

The risk of that is we might end up losing all the progress we made since the second world war. That was the last time right wing was allowed to do as they pleased 🙏
I agree with you. They are pro war and anti immigration (unless it suits their needs such as allowing highly skilled immigrants).
There's a serious scarcity of compassion and humanity in our world right now. I really hope we can pull together and let kindness prevail 🙏
Unfortunately many right wing leaders are facist elite who have tapped into the pain of "common man" and now are diverting their anger for their selfish gains. I think this is what makes them potentially far more dangerous than any existing power.
You think the European Union is collapsing? It sure looks like it to me.
