Military situation in Syria - January 14, 2018
- SAA forces achieve huge advances in SE- Aleppo and secured the Khanaser - Aleppo road. Insurgents attempt to slow down Gov. Forces' advances by conducting counterattacks near Abu Duhur airbase.
- SAA created one pocket trapping HTS elements and are seeking to create another south of Aleppo.
- HTS, FSA and Turkistani terrorists captured new villages in SE of idlib ( Atshan, Khuwein, Tal Maraq, Ard Zarzur, Um Khalakhil, Mushayrifa)
SAA clear the entire pocket South of Aleppo, in particular Buwaydah al-Saghira, al-Kabira, Isţiblāt, Maqtal az Zaydi, Al-Baqat, Rasm al-Bisas and Rasm al-Qarqur
Heavy clashes happening now in the vicinity of the villages of Sham Al-Hawa and Al-Nayha north of Abu Dali. The SAA forces are repelling the attack.
SAA have now totally closed one pocket and are only 3km away from closing second pocket trapping HTS and ISIS south of Aleppo.
