Mr Trump: How could you let somebody like this near your campaign?
I really started to get angry yesterday when I was doing the research for my post "Attorney-Client Privilege: FBI proves it cannot be trusted in less then 4 days". So much so, I was not sure what to write about first - the destruction of Attorney-Client Privilege or GOP fundraiser Elliott Broidy who stepped down as Republican National Committee deputy finance chair.
The New York Times reports:
"In 2009, Mr. Broidy pleaded guilty to charges that he made nearly $1 million worth of illegal gifts to New York State officials in order to win an investment of $250 million from the state’s public pension fund. Among the gifts were trips to Israel and Italy, payouts to officials’ relatives and girlfriends and an investment in one relative’s production of a low-budget movie called “Chooch.”
"During the wide-ranging October meeting, Mr. Broidy raised numerous topics high on the agenda of the United Arab Emirates, a country that has given his security company a contract worth hundreds of millions of dollars."
Separately The New York Times also reported that George Nader, a political adviser to the de facto ruler of the U.A.E. :
"tempted the fund-raiser, Mr. Broidy, with the prospect of more than $1 billion in contracts for his private security company, Circinus, and he helped deliver deals worth more than $200 million with the United Arab Emirates."
Politico reports allegations that Elliot Broidy:
"tried to negotiate a multimillion-dollar fee to get the U.S. government to cease its investigation into a Malaysian investment fund."
Newsweek reports:
Broidy was charged and pleaded guilty in a pay-to-play scandal involving the New York state pension fund in 2009.
Associated Press reports:
George Nader wired $2.5 million to the Trump fundraiser, Elliott Broidy. . . to bankroll an effort to persuade the U.S. to take a hard line against Qatar, a long-time American ally but now a bitter adversary of the UAE.
Mr President, Elliott Broidy does not look like the type of person who will help you drain the swamp and make America great again. He appears to have a shady past and to this day, looks more likely to be feeding the Washington swamp monsters then he is to help you drain the swamp.
Why did you let somebody like this anywhere near your campaign or administration?
Mr President, a lot of people are counting on you to drain the swamp and make America great again. Do not let them down - get rid of people like Elliot Broidy.
Don't forget to look into the Clinton murders and rapes.

Everyone is so sick of the stench still coming from the Clinton/Obama swamp - we just really want Trump to drain it.
Today's report of the criminal referral of Andrew McCabe is a good start.
There are a lot of people in his administration that are the exact opposite of the people he promised. "I have the best people" Half of his cabinet has turned over in just over a year and he continues to fill positions with shady unqualified people like the one you detailed above. You did a nice job with it too btw by pulling in a lot of different sources and examples. He may not want career politicians, but he also doesn't care about ethics in the people he hires. He only seems to care who he sees on TV and who flatters him the most. Like director of the V.A was the white house doctor who has had no experience running a large bureaucracy. The only reason he got the job was because he went on tv and gave a glowing review of Trumps health. Dude said he was 239 pounds which was a flat out lie, but put him just below obesity standards. I'm 230 and shorter and am way smaller then Trump. It is scary the kind of people he puts in high positions.
No better time to upgrade his team.
