Facebook shares have dropped 6.7 percent since 50 million user accounts are feared to have lost private information to a Company named Cambridge Analytica. Since close last Friday Zuckerberg’s wealth has dropped from $75bn to $66bn.

Regarding Cambridge Analytica Facebook made this statement: “We are suspending Strategic Communication Laboratories (SCL), including their political data analytics firm, Cambridge Analytica, from Facebook”. In 2015 Facebook ordered Cambridge Analytica to destroy user data it had received from a company named Global Science Research which specialized in harvesting data from the platform. Now since a 26 year old whistle-blower named Christopher Wylie we discover it has not done so. Russia has denied the U.S. stance and countered that Washington had already quit the Soviet-era arms-control pact. Putin quoted the Trump administration's Nuclear Posture Review as good enough reason to carry on.

The Office of United States Trade is trying to prevent the NAFTA (North American Free-Trade Agreement) framework to include detailed labels on food products.
