President Trump Confirms U.S. And North Korean Officials Have Been Engaged In 'High-Level' Talks

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited the president at his Mar-a-Lago resort on Tuesday where both held a press conference and discussed a variety of topics, including North Korea.

During the meeting, Trump told reporters the U.S. "has started talking to North Korea directly."

"We've had direct talks at very high levels, extremely high levels with North Korea."

Although Trump did not name any individuals directly, one can assume he may have spoken to the rogue state's leader, Kim Jong-un.
