According to the British parliament, during the referendum, Russia can "try to frustrate or prevent" the ratification of the agreement. According to parliamentarians, Moscow intends to "use the problems of the region to prevent the establishment of peace and prosperity in the Balkans".
"There is also a danger that, in particular, during the referendum in Macedonia, Russia will try to frustrate or prevent the ratification of the agreement recently reached by Athens and Skopje in the hope of ending the long-standing dispute over the name of the Republic of Macedonia," the report says.
