What happened to the NEWS !??
Hello fellow Steemians !!
This article is about some of our TRP hungry news channels.
(It is just my point of view. Feel free to leave yours in the comments)
Honestly , I don't watch tv. But now a days, news is not just on the television's screen. From social networking sites to YouTube, it is everywhere.
It should be a good thing right??
But , no!!
They got this popularity because of their "not making any sense" reporting.
Here are some examples.
1. Aliens need nutrition too.

For those who can't read Hindi, this says "Do aliens drink cow milk?"
Lol. This is your headline??! Even a kid's cartoon show has better logic than this. No one have found an alien species till now , and here is our media showing us they drink cow milk or not. Brilliant!
2. Aliens just love cow.

So this time they have report. Great! Some aliens came in a spaceship and stole cow. Damn! Some serious sci-fi action is going on there.
3. Hey! No big news today. Lets just show a love story.
- Love story is too common. We won't get much TRP from that.
- What about love story of tigers??

Why switch to Nat Geo , Animal Planet?? These news channel will show you exclusive love story of two tigers. And one of tiger said "I love you" , its a hell of a news obviously.
4. Don't laugh. That dog is a National asset.

5. Aliens want a concert??

How did they get these information?? Maybe the channels have someone inside.

I don't know what did they mean. Honestly I don't want too. Lmao.
Those who didn't get this , stay watching aliens drinking cow milk.
So these were some examples of what our news channels show us.
There was a time in India , when only one news channel existed. DD Dordorshan. It gives us information, facts, news twice or thrice a day. But as the time passed , more private news channels arrived with 24x7 hours of news or should I say crap (p.s. not all though). And not only news channels, things got worse with others too. And personally I think FM radio's news is still the best. No false reporting, only important news and not taking any side. We should stick to that. :)
