China intends to stamp out all cryptographic money exchanging the nation by blocking access to abroad based sites and expelling related applications from application stores.

This could be blown out of proportion a little. China has been talking about banning cryptocurrencies for a long time, but it seems there really hasn't been much for doing so. I guess I'll believe it when it actually happens, otherwise I'll just see it as empty threats.
